We are seeking an application Scientist/technical support specialist to within the marketing team to support customers with technical inquiries. The qualified individual will work closely with the RD scientists and marketing and sales team to help customers solve their problems and develop new applications using DiaCarta’s proprietary technologies and products.


  • Have a customer-centric mind and follow up all the customer cases closely and create case numbers to classify the cases; generate frequently asked questions for future customer communications
  • Support customer needs and address customer technical and product concerns
  • Work closely with the sale team to support the technical needs and help customers in the fields with instrument installation and testing
  • Work as liaison between in-house scientists and customers to deliver complex scientific answers to customers in timely manner
  • Understand the targeted trend and propose new applications ideas to marketing team and design and develop application notes by working closely with the marketing team


  • A Ph.D. degree or a Master of Science degree in molecular biology and expansive knowledge in molecular diagnostics area
  • Have a customer-centric and serving attitude and outgoing personality to work with others
  • Industrial experience preferred although not required
  • Occasional customer visit or field travel is required
